How do I lock an image to the background but keep the ability to scroll down?

Morning people, I'm trying to develop a website and I plan to use an image as background and create a box with all the content. I want to be able to scroll down through the box but keeping the image static. I've tried a lot and i didn't find any answer or way to do it. Thanks.
