Resources to turn a desktop web application into a mobile application

I have finished a desktop web application,written in javascript, that I would like to create a mobile version, meaning that I could download it on my phone and use it like that. Can anyone point me to resources that explain how to do this? I've searched online and they all recommend websites that convert it for you, but I would like to do it myself. Thank you.
