I want to keep my database updated using web scraping while it can be used for the web app

So, basically, I want to create an app which scrapes the web periodically to update the data in the database. But the user can also ask for the data stored through the client-side.

I am new to web dev so I really don't know if this will make a problem and if yes then how to fix it. I am planning to use nodeJS for backend, MongoDB for database and Python Scrapy/ BS4 for web scraping but I am looking for suggestions if this needs to change. (I was thinking I could make a flask or django app that updates the database regularly but I am not sure if this is a good idea), please Help!!
