I can't get tapestry archetypeCatalog. Is tapestry still alive?

I am studying Hibernate and in one source author uses tapestrype framework to show how it works. But I can't build simple tapestrype project at all. At the main page of the project shows how to build "helloworld" example with maven using command: mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog=http://tapestry.apache.org but I allways get error "archetypeCatalog 'http://tapestry.apache.org' is not supported anymore". Should I use different archetypeCatalog instead? or Maven not support tapestry anymore, and in case of studying it is useless and unpromising framework? Any question about tapestry is from 2012-13 year, and I can`t find the solution of my problem.
