Not able to idenfify an flex element in browser using Selenium and Genie

I am new to automation of web applications developed in flex. I tried using selenium to find the web elements but all in vain. I had set up Genie with my eclipse but I was not able to understand how to use it to identify and automate flex elements. I don't have access to the source code of our web application.

Can someone please help me with this? Thanks in advance.
