Why isn't my dot.tk domain up?

I have registered a domain on dot.tk and URL forwarded it to a Wordpress site which is hosting the site. I've checked that the URL forwarding is right. When I enter the Wordpress default URL the site comes up just fine, but when I enter the dot.tk URL it doesn't show my site, just a time warner cable search (meaning that the dot.tk site doesn't exist?) Any answers? I registered the dot.tk URL about 6 hours ago, for reference. Does it just take a while to get online?
