Copy link and paste text as link

On a webpage there are table of contents that are links to other pages like this.

Google

When my coworker highlights the text Google and paste it some other page it still remains as a link. For me it only paste the text. Can someone explain to me when we use the same setup why it works for my coworker and not for me.
