Make a search bot on android

I am working on a school project, My app is a sort of a search bot which will take some items provided by the user and send a "query" to a particular website (this website doesn't provide any API) and retrieve the results and show them on my app. I am beginner on android, thus I want to know some ideas about that, and if that is possible and feasable.
