How to read the current visible lines on a page javascript

Is there any way I could read the currently visible lines of data on the screen, for example, on any site, while surfing at any moment, can I read and store the currently visible lines in a string and later display it or use it? When i scroll the page the content will change, ie. The top 2 lines will be removed and bottom 2 lines will be added.
