Simple Node Proxy

I'm looking for a Simple Node Proxy that can act between my web app and server which is causing a Cross-browser-origin error.

I have following questions.

1. Where do I put my authorization credentials, in the request sent to proxy ? or add those details inside the proxy and send it to server

2. Do I have to manage all the methods(GET, POST, PATCH) by myself inside the proxy or are they available out of the box.
