Good Javascript projects for building a portfolio

I'm a junior web developer and I'm currently looking for some good ideas for web projects which would help me enhance my github portfolio. I'm looking mainly for projects involving JS. Most of what I've seen as suggestions are just exercises which provide good additional training but not something that you can present when going to an interview.
