Unable to download plugin from firefox?

I'm trying to download a plugin from Firefox , once downloaded this application can be installed to outlook. basically whenever I click download, browser has to send a get request with a CGI script. But in my case the browser is not sending any request. I tried the same process with chrome and Im able to download the plugin. HTML Scripts for Chrome and Firefox are same. Even though scripts are same why am I unable to download the plugin from Firefox?

Used fire bug to see Get requests sent by the browser.
