Different behavior with android app and web

This is a question about what we can see using the API (https://api.imgur.com/models/image ) for this service. In the API, name is a string and it is OPTIONAL. It will contain the original filename, if you're logged in as the image owner

When posting an image in imgur using the web, the parameter 'name' is updated with the name of the file uploaded. When posting the same image in imgur with the android app, the parameter 'name' is not updated. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature (since it is an OPTIONAL parameter) of the android app, but it would be interesting to have a similar behavior.
