Upload and Download File Using PHP Web Service [on hold]

Is it possible to upload files to another server in php?

I need some ideas on how to upload files to different servers.

Since we have space problems with our application servers, then we have decided to upload all the new files into another server. We can also download all the files on another server.

For security purposes, we need to make sure both servers are connected by matching the parameters. Such as some credentials, and hash key.
