I've taken over maintenance of an ASP.NET app that has a page full of links to pdfs (brochures and whatnot) that opens the docs in a new tab.
It works correctly for most people most of the time, but my client says that for SOME users, SOME of the time, instead of a new tab, they get re-directed to the top of the current page.
My guess is that it's something to do with the browser configuration rather than the app, but I've never run into this before. Any ideas what might be causing it?
