my website full url is not visible

i am developing a website. on my server, i have some directory and few web pages in that and when i open it in the browser, i'm able to see my specific page in that directory but, it doesn't show full url in the browser. eg. "/public_html/newfolder" in this directory i have "view.php", so when i open that link in browser "view.php" content is shown, but in url it only shows "http://ift.tt/1JH1MiV" and when i try refreshing the page it jumps to "index.php" page of "newfolder" directory. what can i do to make full url to be visible in the browser??
