What framework should I use to develop a web-portal where I get users input and also display on the site

for my project I want to create a web portal that users can log into and practice java coding.

Is there specific frameworks/open sourced tools out there to help me develop this? I want to be able to get the users input (eg. code) then also to display the result on the screen so that they can see what they are developing.

If your confused best way of explaining it will be similar to codeacademy or jsfiddle.

instead of using a framework what way can I go about it? I need lots of ideas please!
