We need to convert word documents into pdf and compressed it before saving or sending it to another server?

Our application deals with lot of word doc and the same has to be displayed to client in compressed and optimize way(in pdf).we want to implement a service which takes word document,convert it into pdf and compressed it at to the lowest level possible and send it to the another server.

Any idea for implementing the same??
