Remove white border for iphone / ipad

Looks good on desktop and designed to be pixil perfect and not extend on desktop. However, on iphone / ipad, I would liek it to extend out to full width automatically. Currently, for some reason, it keeps a large white border around content. I don't want a mobile version, but simple for it to display full screen on iphone / ipad; but also have fixed pixil width desktop. Also, when I click the calendar screens, on desktop the background remains stationary, but on ios the background moves up on screen. My goal would be for it to remain stationary a certain set distance from side edge on iphone / ipad. Thank you.
