I was thinking about using a Forum Software (like simplemachines, mybb, vbulletin, discuz!) as an alternative frontend for Bugzilla, to allow more novice user to report issues. I would then write a storage engine which supplements priority, assignment, etc. and save it to Bugzilla. Is there an easy way to alter the data storage of any common forum software to match my needs?
