Connect printer from Java Web application

My Project is using JSF + Spring + Hibernate for development. In some cases we have to printing Excel or PDF file. My question is: How to end user click "print" button, my application will generate excel (PDF) file and call printer directly and do printing job. So, anyone can suggest other idea? Thanks all.
