HTML code not running properly when edited

I am trying to clone a website "https://ift.tt/3aqNkOp", I used the "base href" tag and everything was going well until I changed anything. Whenever I am changing any portion or removing it, the sliders on the site are not working anymore and are not visible too. But when I disabled the javascripts, it showed the few pictures on the slide but the silde then also is not working at all.
