Can't google hostname of apache server on phone

I can access my apache web server from a computer fine when doing both http://[hostname] and http://[ip address]. But on my phone i can do http://[ip address], but when I type in http://[hostname] I get this error on chrome DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.

Can anyone help?
