Smoothest file transfer method in progressive web app

2 people can share files on Android devices (native way) using NFC and WiFi. It's the smoothest way I've seen.

Is there any relevant possibility for web app?

I mean the "standard way" would be - search file path on your device, upload it online (or send via email) then the other person needs to 1. download it, 2. find where it was downloaded 3. open in web app.

This way is exactly same when people meet face 2 face or they are 1000 miles away.

Seems to me should be some way more simple when people meet - internet upload is not even needed, just device->device ...

I'd like to make it as simple as possible to be able to transfer and share files between web apps.

Why web app - it work on all platforms and 10x cheaper to develop.
