Building a program with Python

I want to build a program with python that will find businesses in certain area in Israel, I want the program to return me a business name and a phone number. The only thing I don’t know is where I can get all the information. I thought about google maps at first because most businesses can be found there with the address and phone number, but right now I really don’t know how to import all the information to my program so it can return some sort of a list of all the businesses in the area. If anyone can think of another source besides Google Maps, I would really like to know about that.
