Localisation file size and nodejs

I'm a newbie web developer. I am using nodejs for backend. I want to support 2 language. I choose i18n libraries that use json files for translation.

I finished translating site but in the lang file sizes nearly 110 KB.

How can is lower file size that will be sent to clients? Are there any ways in serving step? Sending file zipped by node or with response header?
