Building frontend for existing puthon backend [closed]

I just got hired at a data analysis internship and I've been asked to create a frontend website to display the results from analysing black&white films ,made by a previous team. Some background on the previous team's work : they were doing data analysis using nlp so they , cleaned up the data which they were fetching from an excel sheet and wrote it back to a csv file and used that data for querying, they also wrote some functions such as a movie recommendation system. My task is to access these results and these functions and display them to a user. I'm a bit lost as to how to connect the backend to the frontend, and which tech to use to achieve this purpose , I mostly have frontend experience with react; so any advice on how to proceed and what to learn would be greatly appreciated.
