Show video to all visitors (realtime)

I'm trying to make a site where if I press a button, a video will show to all visitors of the website.

Trying to figure out how to do this. Was thinking of using jQuery for this but thought that'd be hard since that's client-based.

What language do you recommend for this and anyone know any sort of source of where to get inspiration? Can't find any information online for this
