Documentation using CFHTTP Options Methd

I can't really find an example of cfhttp options Tag, If someone has it please guide me to relevant tutorial so i can build my own,

I am seeing documentation on every 2nd website i am visiting that cfhttp has a method of options but it really does show up how we can make it work, i tried to search for http options but could not get much as to why and how is the practical use of this can be implemented
