Collaborative sharing links or snippets

I don't know if it's the best place for this question but like we're working generally in same conditions, I suppose it will interesting many people.

I'm working in a software company and we searching a good alternative to save and share links, quick documentation or snippets for the dev team. Previously, we're used Confluence for that but the soft is too heavy, tree architecture and slow searching discourage people to create new pages or searching documentation. Finally, Slack seems be better to share links/code extract but it's not its purpose. So we want something lighter and simple to replace Confluence.

Personnally, I'm using Shaarli which is an excellent light bookmarking software but it's essentially to share a link with a note. But I like the system of searching, of tagging and the plain architecture. It's simple, quick and we can share a link in 1 minute. Additionnally, a colleague has proposed something like StackOverFlow, a question follow by answer where we can share links or code examples. But I don't know if other alternative for this kind of need exists and what they are.
