Getting a wordpress form input then checking that input against api data

I am building a form on through a wordpress plugin that accepts an order id. That id is then passed to an API then checked to make sure it's a valid ID. If the ID is valid then it out puts the status. I am new to php and I am not sure that the code that I wrote correctly pulls the id from the form and checks against the ids within the api

I haven't really tried anything other than the code provided

I would like to check against other Ids and if the id matches an ID in the system then it outputs all data
