How can I create a folder structure using Javascript? [on hold]

I want to be able to create a folder system within my webapp but I don't know how to approach it and I can't find anything online about how to do it. I'm using Javascript, HTML and CSS but can't figure anything out. If it's of any help, I'm using Framework7 but it doesn't change anything, the layout changes how it is required.
