JDeveloper 12c component doesn't refresh in IE

My main page for this business application consists of 4 independent components. The problem I run into is that one of the component does not refresh when the change has been made. Moreover, everything else disappears from that component. (the entire page needs to be refreshed to update or to return the original state). The issue exist only for IE, and only if I don't type the actual URL. For example, if type http://page.com:7004/App instead of http://page.com:7004/App/faces/main.jsf. It works perfectly fine for Chrome. Why does it work for Chrome but doesn't work for IE?
