How do I connect or integrate Hyper Terminal with Web Based Application?

We are working on a project for a shipping port. The shipping port uses a weighbridge which is used to calculate the truck's weight. The weighbridge manufacturer has informed us that they will provide us the data through HYPER TERMINAL.

What we want as data is just the weight of the truck. He has shared with us the communication port details and other details.

Now my question is, how do we pull data from HYPER TERMINAL into our Web-based Application which will be built on Node JS and React JS.

I'm a project manager and have intermediate knowledge of technologies. So would be great if you guys can help me to get on a solution.
