How can i create my own streetview application / website for video games such as Minecraft

I was recently messing around with the Dynmap plugin for my Minecraft server I host locally when I thought it would be a cool idea to integrate some form of a "street view" feature like what is present in Google Maps / earth. I searched around on the internet to see if I could find anything (admittedly not for very long), however I could not seem to find much.

The way I was thinking of going about this was by taking a long chain of 360' pictures (like what the Google cars do), and then creating some sort of viewer for them which allows you to pan around the image. I'd then add buttons onto the picture, which when looked at and clicked on, would teleport you to the next corresponding 360' image to that one.

The problem is, is that I have absolutely no idea how I'd go about this. I'd ideally want something like this to be operable in the browser on a website, however the only web based languages I know are HTML and JavaScript, which I only know the basics of both.

If anyone knows of a piece of software that would do this, or if anyone can link me to a few resources on how I'd go about creating this myself, I'd be very interested. -Thanks-
