Static website goes blank on firebase deployment but runs fine on local host

I'm trying to deploy a static bootstrap template from https://welisonmenezes.github.io/wm-simple-blog-template/ on firebase. After following all the steps mentioned in the official docs, when i deploy it on localhost with the command firebase serve, its runs as smooth as butter on my local machine but when i deploy it on my project in firebase using firebase deploy, my site goes blank when deployed, you can have a look at https://techsblogs12.web.app/.

I have put all my contents in a folder named 'public', so the default site can run. There's no react or angular involved as you can see the template used. I don't know what tweaks need to be made on the code, any help is appreciated, Thanks.
