How we can send Huge data in web API Get method in ASP.Net

I got one question in interview like when we want to send huge data in WEB API get method in ASP.Net web API, so how we can do.

I answered like suppose I have a Customer collection and I want to send this collection then we can use FROMURI and we can pass collection and get.

but interviewer was not satisfied and after that I google a lot about it but still I did not get any other answer except FROMURI.

please can anybody answer and help me.

it will be great help if anybody can answer with the help of example
