What languages are required?

What languages are required to make a simple game like this?http://ift.tt/1k3OrWu

Basically any type of Web Based 2D game.

Also if you could link tutorials to getting started that would be helpful. Also I don't mean linking tutorials on per say "Javascript" etc but the specific ones that lead into making a 2d game like in the picture.
