How do I show the guided React tour only once for a user?

I have added guided tour for my React App. I want to show it only once and disable the tour for subsequent visits. I have found this library but couldn't figure out how to disable on subsequent visits by same user? How do I use localstorage to deal with this issue?

I have used multiple instances of the tour guide as it is across different pages.
