Web Development/ Deployment

I don't know if this question has already been asked or not, but here goes. I want to learn how to make an e-commerce site, one with user authentications and some database to connect to, etc.

To do this, I've already spent quite some time learning the basics. JavaScript, HTML, CSS. SQL. And Python/ Java/ coding. I feel like I'm now pretty comfortable with using these languages.

However, I know next to nothing about the deployment/ set up process. How do I connect to my database? How do I authenticate my users? Etc.

Do you have any books/ tutorials to point me in the right direction? Somebody I spoke to told me that frameworks are the way to go and to just use those instead of reinventing the wheel. True, but I at least need to know which framework to use and how it works. And I don't know what I don't know, so there's that.
