Azure - move custom domain from an active resource to a newly created one

I need some help for moving a custom domain from an azure resource to another. I do not have much experience in azure. The custom domain that I wish to move is assigned to a resource(old website). I have created a new resource, developed a new website and now I need the custom domain to point to this new website. Can you please let me know how to do this with minimal down time?
