Domain Cloaking/Masking URL for PHP not Working

I have a domain with a sub-domain, with cloaking/masking enabled to hide the URL. I added a couple of PHP files to the website directory. When I do to the directory with my cloaked/masked domain address i get a refused to connect error in chrome. When I load up my HTML website files in the directory they load fine. The PHP files are verified and do work. I have tested them on a localhost server. Does cloaking/masking not work for PHP? Thanks for any help.
