Webtest project not saving correctly in VS2017 Enterprise

I am trying to set up a webtest project in VS 2017 (Enterprise) but it is not saving correctly - whenever I try to run it, it shows "Passed" but does not actually launch the browser and retrace the steps that I recorded.

Here is what I did:
- Open VS 2017 (Enterprise) -> start a "Web Performance and Test project"
- In the IE9 window that opened up, entered www.microsoft.com -> searched for "Office"
- Note that the browser went to the website and also did the search fine
- Stopped recording
