I traveled to my newly created, still under development, site today to find ads pop up. I haven't done any work to put ads into place so i was immediately surprised. I checked the dev panel and noticed that there is about 7 cookies being set when visiting my site. None of which I put into place!
I am using PHP codeigniter as the framework for the site and have left all file permissions default. I am very confused on how someone got access and is setting cookies. I really need to get rid of these cookies and find the security hole that has been exploited. Any ideas or experience on this note would be much appreciated!
