Is it bad practice to use websocket together with regular http in one app?

I am currently designing web app and would like to implement it partially with websocket and partially with rest over http. Let's take a product page as an example:

• Websocket - real time product availability update
• Http request/respnse - Buy product

Is it generally good or bad practice?
