Can I start a GlassFish Server in different locations with my Macbook?

If I have an advanced web development project on the go and I am travelling a lot, am I able to launch it whenever using the same GlassFish Server or could this cause problems? For example when I travel 2 hours away my sever never seems to run because of certificate issues. This is using NetBeans latest version and GlassFish Server 4.0.0
