Guidance on "How cool are you" facebook web application

I am trying to build my first facebook web application "How cool are you?". What i am trying to achieve is:

1. Get user's profile picture on my webpage through fb java-sdk.
2. Then apply some cool filter on it and some text showing the percentage of, how cool you are.
3. Post a feed on user's timeline.

I have done the 1st step. Now I am confused how to do next steps? I need some detailed guidance on:

1. How to apply cool filter on it with some text showing the "Cool" percentage.
2. How to post in back on user's page as feed? The link in the feed should be showing Filtered Picture on left and Website link on right, just like; when you share an android app link from play store.
