What programming languages do I need to build a multi-sided platform?

For a college project I want to build a website which will be a multi-sided platform. From the one side there will be users who an login into the platform and pick and review users who come in from the other side. Like a platform where music lovers can the users from one side and musicians can be users from the other side. Also the users from both sides will need to have an account with certain details about them like their names and that sort of stuff.

Therefore my question is: What programming languages can I best use, or are used, for this kind of multi-sided platform?
