Flask server asynchronous infrastructure

I've built a web-app on flask running jobs that can take up to a minute to process. I'm simultaneously serving web-pages from this server.

I need to find a way to asynchronously run these functions (data processing and serving web pages). Currently using Tornado (which doesn't play nice with jinja templates either).

I'd really appreciate any direction that can be provided for how to set up this service.
