I want to draw a Risk Board Game Map in the browser. What techniques are up-to-date? When I draw in a canvas it's hardly to catch the click events on such complex shapes(not rectangle/radius-like). Besides the animation part will get tricky too if theres an combat animation where you have to enlarge the choosen country. Is there any other technique that fits better?
